Postfix documentation remains the common MTA; Stalwart Mail Server is the modern all-in-one, and Mailcow wraps the classic stack in a panel. The platform facts stay the same under any of them: port 25 open inbound and outbound with no unblock ticket, PTR editable after deploy, FCrDNS alignment on you. Reputation is the part nobody sells — whatever the payment rail, a fresh IP starts cold and warms by what it sends.

Sizing and placement

A single-domain MTA is a light process — Warden ($19.00 list, $15.20 annual-eff) carries queues, spam filtering and webmail comfortably. Limits

The host will not whitelist your domain at Gmail or pre-warm any IP — deliverability is earned by SPF/DKIM/DMARC discipline and sending history. Spam and CSAM are AUP failures that end the account; a mail server changes neither fact.
