# Refund and Cancellation Policy

Service is prepaid, and cancellation is self-service: the panel ends the renewal, or a ticket does it for you. The unused slice lands on the account balance by default for future invoices; an on-chain return happens only when a ticket is approved — approval is the exception path, not the standard one. Once a refund is approved, it is processed within 48 hours.

Downtime compensation lives in the SLA, not here: service credits are the one remedy when measured availability misses the target, applied to future invoices on the same account.

Payments carry two hard rules. A send on the wrong network or in the wrong asset cannot be recovered by anyone — the invoice names the chain, and the chain is literal. An amount that arrives short keeps the invoice open: complete it there, or hand the txid to a panel ticket and let the watcher match it.
